Terms and Conditions
Definitions
For the purposes of this page, the following terminology applies:
- “We”, “Us”, “Our”, “Our Company”, “Arobas Uldry Tunis”, “AUT” and similar variants refer to Arobas Uldry Tunis.
- “You”, “Your”, “Customer”, “The Customer” and similar variants refer to the owner of the storage media delivered to our company for data recovery services.
Liability Terms & Conditions
Data Liability
All data on media delivered to AUT is considered lost prior to arrival. AUT assumes no responsibility for any data loss resulting from our recovery efforts. Acceptance of media and initiation of recovery does not guarantee success. All recovery techniques are considered experimental, and our service is a last-resort attempt at data retrieval.
Hardware Liability
AUT is not liable for the condition of any hardware left in our care. Recovery efforts may cause:
- Media degradation or failure
- Loss of warranty
- Other unintended consequences
We are also not responsible for:
- Damage or loss during shipping (claims must be filed with the carrier)
- Loss due to theft, fire, natural disaster, or similar events at our facility
Payment Terms & Conditions
Evaluation
Media evaluation is free of charge and non-binding, except for on-site or expedited services. After evaluation, a recovery quote will be provided. If declined, the media will be returned.
Approved Quotes
If the quote is approved and 40% or more of the data (by file count) is recovered:
- The full quoted amount becomes immediately due
- Payment is required even if the recovered data is no longer needed or not what was expected
- Late payments (over 30 days) will incur interest and storage fees
If payment is refused after approval and recovery has begun:
- Neither the recovered data nor the original media will be returned
- The media becomes property of AUT and may be sold, recycled, or disposed of at our discretion
Failed Recovery
If less than 40% of data is recovered:
- The customer may reject the recovery and declare it a loss
- The original media will be returned, but no recovered data will be provided
Abandoned Hardware
If a customer is unresponsive for more than 30 days after evaluation or recovery:
- The media and any data it contains will be considered abandoned
- AUT reserves the right to dispose of, recycle, sell, or repurpose the media
